Taylor's Hair

Taylor's hair is getting pretty long...well at least compared to how little there used to be. So I thought I'd take some pics for all to see.

When I spike it all up, look at how much there is. Looks like she will have thick hair just like mom and dad!

Ice Cream!?!?

We've been letting Taylor try new things lately. Today I gave her some ice cream. She's tried it once before, but I gave her some more today.

At first she was like, hmmm, I don't know.....

But then she was loving it so much, she was grabbing it out of my hands (it was a cone she was reaching for).

It was sooo tasty, she didn't want to waste any of it, so she was licking the rest off of her lips!

Tay's new chair!

Since Taylor is wanting to feed herself more and more these days, we thought we'd get her a little chair.

This one is perfect and has a little tray for all of her little treats!

Just another Sunday...

Taylor hasn't really been into eating her food lately, so I thought I would try something new for her. CHEERIOS!!! Turns out she loves them!

I'm pretty sure she would have eaten the whole box if I would have let her...

Then after her tummy was full, she had to take a little rest.

I love feeding myself!!! And these little peach puff stars are delicious...

But grabbing just one is a little hard and takes some concentration.

Taylor's day with mommy....

Here I am, just hanging out. I thought I would have mom take a few pictures of me. So she did. These are all within 5 minutes. I thought everyone might like to see what I do all day...

Oops, dang it! It's sooo far away. I don't think I'll try for it...

Instead, I'm just going to grab my feet!

Well, mom sat me back up. That's my life in 5 minutes. I could do this all day long!

Taylor's Eye

Okay, so this picture looks a little creepy because she was soooo asleep when I just took it. Anyway, I wanted to get a close picture, so everyone could see her eye. If you look just under her eyebrow on her left eye, you can see her incision. It's healing nicely. The bandage actually came off today on its own. There was a little dried blood that I cleaned up during her bath tonight...very carefully...and then she ate and went to bed. That's why I had to take this when she was sleeping. I'll take more tomorrow and Wednesday when she's awake. Until then.... hugs and loves to all!

Just another Thursday....

It was super nice today when we got off work, so we decided to take Taylor on a walk. We went to the gas station and back. She loves going on walks!!!

It was 66 degrees out at 7:00pm at night. It's so much fun to go on walks with her in the evenings. I'm hoping it will stay nice, so we can do it more often.

What a little silly girl...

but oh so cute! She's figured out that when the camera is out she needs to smile, so I've been getting lots of cute little smiles caught on camera.

Taylor's Surgery Update

Hello all!!

Taylor's surgery went great. We had to be there by 6:30am. It took them an hour to go over paperwork with us. Then they finally took her away at 7:45am. The doctor came out at just after 8:00am, I thought to myself, "something's wrong". Then he said, "Taylor's fine, I've removed the cyst and the nurses will call you back shortly after they wake her up." It took him just over 15 minutes to cut the cyst out. It was wonderful! Since we've been home she's taken a couple of long naps today, but other than that, she's her normal little self. Laughing and playing. You'd never even know she had surgery except for the fact she has a little bandage over her left eyebrow. I'll take some pictures this evening so everyone can see her eye. Thanks for keeping her in your thoughts, it has been greatly appreciated. Pictures to come later!

Hanging out in her playpen in the yard, while Trevor and I did some yardwork on Sunday.

It was sooo sunny and a little over 70 degrees. It was kind of windy though, so I made Taylor still wear her winter hat. She didn't seem to mind. This girl LOVES being outside!

Taylor's really getting the hang of this crawling business...before long she's going to be going all over the house. Right now, she's pretty much just holding herself up, but it won't be much longer before she bolts!
