A day at the park, part 1

It was so beautiful out yesterday evening, so we took Taylor to the park in our subdivision. It was warm and breezy, perfect weather!

Trevor was pushing her so high, but she loved it! I wish I had audio on here, so you could hear her squeals of joy and delight!

Precious little Taylor.

A day at the park, part 2

Taylor had no fear! She would crawl up this play equipment and go down the big slide all on her own.

Spinning the wheel!

Close up! I wish she would look at the camera...

"Hey mom", as she comes down the big slide. Looking at the camera, a wave, and even a smile!

Peek-a-boo!

Feeding Dora

As I said in a previous blog, I'm convinced Taylor thinks Dora is real...

Here is she is feeding her some yogurt. She went in and got Dora up from her 'nap', put her in her chair and proceded to feed her yogurt. So cute!

"Oh Dora, you've got strawberry all over your face, let me get that for you!"

Total concentration. Taylor also gives her drinks and changes her diaper!

Happy Father's Day!

Here is another picture of Taylor's new best friend!

Happy Father's Day Daddy! I love you! Thank you for always playing with me and reading me books.

You are the best Daddy ever!

Taken the other day...of course it's a weird face, because she was trying to get to the camera as usual!

The wonderful life of Taylor...

This is Taylor sleeping with her new Dora the Explorer doll. My friend Lisa gave it to her and it pretty much hasn't left her side since last Tuesday. She plays with her, sleeps with her, feeds her, gives her drinks, and insists that she rides in the car with us. It's really pretty funny :)

Before all the rain came around, it was actually nice for a couple of days last week. We had bought Taylor this cheap pool and decided to set it up.

She was a littly freaked out at first. I think, one, because she hadn't been in a kiddie pool but one time, and two, because the water was super cold! Once she realized she could walk around she had a lot of fun!

Taylor has decided that Dunken is like her "little horse" toy...

Luckily Dunken is one of the best dogs ever and doesn't seem to mind at all!

Our little Taylor...

She is getting BIG!! And crawling on everything. She's been crawling on the couch for awhile now. But lately she's been climbing on her crib, her changing table, the stools in the kitchen, pretty much anything that is climb-able.

Mommy and Taylor.

It's still hard to get good photos of her, because she always wants to play with the camera. I don't know why, we've never let her play with it before.

Intently watching "Dora the Explorer" in the car. We've gone on some road trips recently and found that a DVD player is our best friend for traveling.

Such a little cutie. She loves oatmeal, especially when we let her sit and eat it on her own like a big girl!

Backyard Makeover

This is what our backyard looked like in February 2007 when we purchased our home. The previous owner hadn't done hardly any landscaping, hadn't raked the leaves from the previous fall, and didn't really take care of the yard...

There was bark everywhere...and it just looked awful.

Two and a half years later our backyard is a place to hang out!!!

Rex helped us build a deck and we added french doors off of our bedroom. We purchased the umbrella and Trevor and I refurbished the table to be outdoor friendly.

We've gotten rid of all the bark and replaced it with rock. The yard is leaf free and green as can be!!!
